How to prepare the Pomegranate to make a Pomegranate Juice

Pomegranates are known for their striking red color which can stain everything they come in contact with. Some people remove the seeds from the pomegranate in a bowl of water just so the red juice won’t stain in their clothes or hands. Pomegranates are also known because it takes a while to prepare. Some just peel the pomegranate seeds out where others use a wooden spoon to hit them out of the skin. I still prefer using my hands to remove the seeds from the skin even though it takes a while to separate the seeds from the pomegranate. If you don’t like too much work? There are grocery stores that only sell  the seeds of the fruit so you don’t have the hassle of removing them yourself.

Then there’s still the juicing part of the pomegranate. Some people use equipment like a pomegranate juicer and some use a blender. In this article I’ll be using a blender because most people don’t have a pomegranate juicer. I’ll explain how to use the blender and how to extract the juice in the instructions below.

  • 2 or 3 Pomegranates (depending on the size and how much Juice you want to get)

Instructions

Step 1

Cut the pomegranate and remove the seeds. 

Step 2

Once all the seeds are removed we will put them in a blender and mix it well!

Step 3

Place some paper towel in a sieve to separate the juice from the skin and small seeds from the pomegranate seeds. (use a spoon to get as much juice as possible).

Step 4

Put the pomegranate juice in the ref or add some ice cubes for cold serving and enjoy!

Drinking this juice cannot cure any kind of cancer, but pomegranate juice does help to reduce the symptoms of cancer. To the development of prostate cancer in men, it is recommended to drink one cup of pomegranate juice every day. Drinking pomegranate juice is also a great addition to traditional treatments. Just be sure you always consult a doctor and follow their advice!
