How to prepare the blackberry juice with lime or lemon Juice

 

Blackberry Juice stains! So make sure that you won’t get any juice in your clothes and don’t use wooden utensils because it is really hard to remove. Before I started making this juice, I tried mixing the water with the blackberries with the Nutribullet. I drank it right away after I added some lime without removing the seeds with a fine strainer but that didn’t do the trick for me. I then tried cooking the blackberries which was a lot better for me so I placed the whole procedure below. The equipments you need for this juice are a small pan a fine strainer, a (potato) masher, a bowl and a knive for cutting the lime or lemon. 

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of blackberries or more
  • 3 cups of water
  • Optionally lime and lemon

Instructions

Step 1

Clean the blackberries thoroughly in a big bowl of water.

Step 2

Put the blackberries in a pan and make sure the bottom of the pan is filled with water so the blackberries won’t burn to the bottom of the pan.

Step 3

Boil the mixture and press the juice out of the blackberries with a masher or potato masher.

Step 4

Place blackberries in a fine strainer and pour the blackberries inside to separate the juice from the skin and small seeds. Use a spoon to separate the juice from the pulp and repeat the procedure if necessary.

Step 5

Pour the juice in a glass and place it in the ref or add some ice!

Step 6

When the Juice is cold you can add some 1 whole lime or a half lemon to bring it to taste and enjoy the drink!

Drinking this juice also benefits the heart because it contains vitamin B6 and folic acid like most red juices and blue juices.. These substances can help prevent damage to the veins so that the heart is protected. Red juices are made of antioxidants such as lycopene and anthocyanins. They are helpful in fighting heart diseases because the antioxidants fight the free radicals or toxins in the body.
